If you haven't heard of IMVU yet, you're missing out on one of the coolest things to happen to communication in a while. Have you played The Sims? Well, imagine being a Sim - chatting in an instant messenger that lets you interact 3D. This is what IMVU is all about, and it's beyond cool.
This section of My-Photoshop is dedicated to the graphical side of IMVU. What is shared here includes free IMVU backgrounds for your home page, tutorials on customizing your home page, and tutorials on the basics of creating as a Developer for IMVU.

One of my own personal favorite modifications, semi-transparent backgrounds in your imvu home page sections let your cool page backgrounds show through. It's better than full transparency because it still sets the sections apart - but lets everything look cool.

IMVU Colored Scrollbars
If there's one homepage modification I'm asked the most often "how to" do ... it's "How do I make the scrollbars different colors?"
It's an easy enough thing to do. Just keep in mind that colored scrollbars only work in Internet Explorer, not Firefox or any other web browser. If you use Firefox, you'll never be able to see your nifty work ... nor will anyone else who visits your IMVU page. If that's not a big deal to you, though, then have had it and customize your IMVU page with them. This tutorial will show you how.

IMVU Layout Generator
Not a tutorial, but a link to a pretty easy generator if you decide you just really don't want to learn how to do the elements yourself. Be aware that this generator doesn't allow you to use your own custom graphics, it is all about color and the position of your content boxes ... but it's extremely useful if you just want a very basic change without much work involved.

Mother Earth Tree
